The Insomnia Radio Top 10

My friend Jason Evangelho does a fantastic podcast called Insomnia Radio. I'm somewhat addicted to it. He's given me many a shout-out and I'm here to return the favour. However, my biggest reason for this post is because I also firmly beleive that this music needs to be made known. So here is a post that can also be found on his website. Welcome to the Top 10 list that has taken me weeks. This article is important on many levels, both personally and as a demonstration of the power of podcasting. The albums below were all introduced to me during production of Insomnia Radio throughout the past 2 years. I've listened to literally thousands of groups, and played well over 500.That should illustrate that these 10 albums are ones I'd take with me to a desert island. Albums that, despite numerous hours of my day being consumed with listening to new music, return to my ears on a weekly basis. From beginning to end, each track is stellar, memorable, and a perfect example of the indie music goldmine that is often ignored by the mainstream.But, as I've said throughout the months when playing the below artists - it's only a matter of time. Even now bands like Recliner, Margot, Limbeck, Chance, and Thriving Ivory are on the verge of exploding. Here then, are 10 albums that you should own.
